Student Led Conferences
What a wonderful experience our students and teachers had last term!
We had the first of what we hope will be many opportunities for our students to sit and talk with their parents and whanau about their learning. Students were able to take responsibility for explaining their current achievement in reading, writing and maths and in talking about the next steps in their learning to help them to progress from this current level. By having their work available, either in a folder, in their exercise books or on the walls of their classroom they were able to show exactly what they were doing and what they needed to work on next. families were talking about what they could do to help with these next steps.
